Bodmin Moor is situated in the centre of Cornwall and is a large area of mostly uncultivated land, interspersed with a number of hill farms, who mostly rear sheep. A number of Tors are dotted throughout the region including Brown Willy, Rough Tor, Sharp Tor, Stowes Hill and Kilmar Tor. The area has an interesting past and myths and legends abound. A modern myth is that of The Beast of Bodmin, said to be a large black panther, but no credible photographic evidence exists.
